Cathy’s experience in sports law and marketing started with the NBA and WNBA where she served as Counsel. Cathy drafted the original WNBA formation and structuring agreements and then negotiated agreements for the Women’s Olympic Basketball Dream Team and various marketing, sponsorship, licensing, television, multimedia and advertising agreements for both the NBA and WNBA. Cathy also spearheaded the legal team responsible for securing the 2018 March Madness Final Four, the 2018 NCAA Football Bowl Championship, the 2019 Super Bowl, and the 2026 FIFA World Cup, as well as issuing commercial paper for Mercedes-Benz Stadium and State Farm Arena.

Cathy wins name, image, and likeness (NIL) marketing deals with international and domestic sponsors in shoes, apparel, luxury automobile, technology, and food and beverage.
